It starts with a journey to explore an abandoned factory in Shanghai. Through a window of this broken building, I saw a tree full of blooming, a strength in silence, a vivid life with its own attitude. WEN PAN AW22 is inspired by this beautiful contrast between roughness and prettiness.
This collection plays with the combination of geometric lines and natural textures, so checks and stripes come with textured wool and linen; Plain cotton twill is highlighted by floral print and raw edges. The silhouettes are inspired by vintage dresses and jackets from worker girls in factories. Everything aims to represent the spirit of the alive beauty in ruins.
